Candles are a great way to celebrate a special occasion or to simply relax in your home. If you want to add a personal touch to your candles, you can easily put a picture on them.
To put a picture on a candle, you will need:
-A candle
-A picture
-A pencil
-An eraser
-A ruler
-A knife
-A cutting board
-Scotch tape
-A printer
-Printer paper
-An image editor (optional)
1. Begin by printing out the picture that you want to put on your candle. If you are using an image editor, make sure to print the image out at the size that you want it to be on the candle.
2. Cut out the picture with a knife. Be careful not to cut yourself.
3. Place the picture on a cutting board and use a pencil to trace around the edges of the picture.
4. Cut out the picture with a knife.
5. Use Scotch tape to attach the picture to the candle.
6. Light the candle and enjoy!
Candle Dipping
is the process of coating a lit candle with wax or other material. The history of candle dipping is not fully known, but it is believed that the process originated in China. There are many different ways to dip a candle, but the most common method is to use a dipping pot. The dipping pot is filled with wax or other material and the candle is inserted into the pot. The material is then melted and the candle is coated with the material. The candle is then removed from the pot and allowed to cool.
How To Melt Soy Wax
The first step in learning how to melt soy wax is to gather all of the supplies that you will need. These supplies include:
Soy wax flakes
A double boiler
A thermometer
A spoon
A container to pour the wax into
Once you have gathered all of your supplies, you can begin melting the soy wax. Place the soy wax flakes into the top of the double boiler. Place the thermometer in the top of the double boiler as well, so that you can monitor the temperature of the wax.
Bring the water in the bottom of the double boiler to a boil. Once the water is boiling, the heat will begin to melt the soy wax. Stir the wax occasionally with the spoon, so that it melts evenly.
Once the soy wax has melted, remove it from the heat and pour it into the container of your choice. Allow the wax to cool completely before using it.
How To Scent Candles

-Add the scent. Most candles already have scent in them, but if you want to add more, you can. Just be careful not to add too much, or it will overpower the other scents in the room.
-Enjoy your scented candles! Lighting a candle is a great way to relax and enjoy your home.
Parts Of A Candle
There are three main parts to a typical candle: the wick, the wax and the wick holder. The wick is the part of the candle that burns, and the wax is the material that the wick is embedded in. The wick holder is the part of the candle that holds the wick in place.
The wick is made of cotton or other fibrous material. When the candle is lit, the heat of the flame melts the wax around the wick, and the wax is drawn up the wick. The heat of the flame vaporizes the liquid wax (turns it into a hot gas) and starts to break down the hydrocarbons into molecules of hydrogen and carbon. These vaporized molecules are drawn up into the flame, where they react with oxygen from the air to create heat, light, water vapor (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
The type of wax a candle is made of affects the brightness, color and duration of the flame. Paraffin wax is the most common type of wax used in candles, and it burns with a bright, yellow flame. Beeswax candles have a softer, more mellow flame, and soy wax candles have a slightly greenish flame.
The wick holder is made of metal, plastic or glass. It is usually a cup-shaped or cone-shaped holder that is placed on the top of the candle. The wick is inserted into the wick holder and is then glued or taped in place. The wick holder helps to keep the wick in the center of the candle, and it also prevents the wax from flowing up the wick and extinguishing the flame.
