Soy Wax Candle Making Recipes
There are a million candle recipes out there. But, they all seem to require either beeswax or expensive fragrance oils. So, I set out to create a few recipes of my own that use soy wax and essential oils. These candles are easy to make, smell great, and are much cheaper than store-bought candles.
The first recipe I tried was a simple soy wax candle. This candle is made with soy wax, essential oil, and a wick.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup soy wax
– 1/4 cup essential oil
– wick
Instructions:
1. Melt the soy wax in a double boiler or in the microwave.
2. Add the essential oil to the melted wax.
3. Pour the wax mixture into a jar or container.
4. Insert the wick into the wax.
5. Let the candle cool and harden.
