Making A Mold Of A Candle
When you make a mold of a candle, you are creating a replica of the candle in order to use it to create more candles. This is done by making a rubber mold of the candle.
The first step is to gather the supplies you will need. These include a candle, a bowl of hot water, a bowl of ice water, a spoon, a knife, Vaseline, and a rubber mold.
Next, cut the candle in to small pieces with the knife. Then place the pieces in to the hot water. Let them sit in the hot water for about two minutes.
After two minutes, take the pieces out of the hot water and place them in the ice water. Let them sit in the ice water for about two minutes.
After two minutes, take the pieces out of the ice water and place them in the bowl of Vaseline. Rub the Vaseline all over the pieces.
Now, place the Vaseline-covered pieces in to the rubber mold. Push them down in to the mold so that they are completely covered.
Next, press the two halves of the mold together. Make sure that the Vaseline is evenly spread between the two halves.
Now, wait for the candle to harden. This will take about two hours.
After two hours, take the mold apart. You will now have a replica of the candle in the rubber mold.
