Scented Percentages In Candle Making
When it comes to scenting candles, it’s important to use the right amount of fragrance. If you use too little, the candle will not smell very strong. If you use too much, the candle will smell overpowering and artificial.
The amount of fragrance you use depends on the type of candle you are making. For example, when making a soy candle, you’ll want to use about 3% fragrance oil. For a paraffin candle, you’ll want to use about 6% fragrance oil.
It’s also important to make sure that the fragrance oil you use is compatible with the wax you are using. Some fragrance oils are not compatible with soy wax, for example.
