Beeswax Candle Making Molds
As a beekeeper, you likely have access to plenty of beeswax. Why not make your own candles It’s a fun and easy project that you can do with your kids. You’ll need a few supplies, including beeswax, a mold, a heat source, and a wick.
The first step is to choose a mold. You can use almost anything for a mold, such as an old can, a cardboard box, or a silicone baking pan. If you’re using a metal mold, you’ll need to line it with wax paper or parchment paper to prevent the wax from sticking.
Next, you’ll need to heat the wax. You can do this using a stovetop or a microwave. If you’re using a stovetop, place the wax in a saucepan and heat it over low heat. If you’re using a microwave, place the wax in a microwavable container and microwave it for 30 seconds.

Allow the wax to cool and harden. Once it’s hardened, you can remove the candle from the mold.
