If you want to specialize in perfumes then you will need to purchase fragrance oils separately and mix them together. Other specialty items such as jasmine oils and rose oils can also be used in conjunction with your base oils.
When selecting your essential oils for candle making scents you will need to choose some that complement each other. For example, mint should be in the base oil, followed by the flowery scent of the peppermint. The last scent you will want to use is the woodsy scent of the cypress. In order to get the best combination you will want to melt the wax into a consistency that is a liquid mass. Once you have done this you will then pour the wax into your mold and spread it out until it is fully covered with melted wax.
Candle making scents can be used to create healing or soothing aromas. For instance, lavender essential oils can be combined with Rosemary and sandalwood to make use of a very pleasant fragrance that provides deep relaxation. You can even use your scented candles to create the ambiance for any room of your home.
You can buy candle making molds in a wide variety of different colors, sizes, and shapes. There are rectangular ones, square ones, round and oblong ones, and even some with multiple sides. They are usually made from clear glass or plastic, and they will allow you to pour in your wax mixture while it solidifies. Once you have the candle ready you will simply pour in the fragrance oils and let the candle cool off.
Candle molds come in many different scents and flavors. You will find that some candles smell more like fruits or floral fragrances, and others smell more like peppermint, lavender, or jasmine. As you become more experienced you can move up to the more expensive candle making scents. As long as you have a variety of fragrances you should be able to create nice perfumes or colognes with your candles.
