The following instructions will show you how to make candles using a basic melting pot, although you can also use a double boiler.
The first step is to gather your supplies. You will need paraffin wax, beeswax, a melting pot or double boiler, a stovetop, a spoon, a measuring cup, a cutting board, a sharp knife, and some candle wicks.
The next step is to measure out your waxes. For this project, you will need 1 cup of paraffin wax and 1/2 cup of beeswax.
Place the waxes in the melting pot or double boiler. Turn on the stove to medium-high heat and wait for the waxes to melt.
