Learning the Art of Candle Making
Candle making has been developed independently in some areas over the years. The ancient Egyptians were the first people to use natural ingredients in candles but they also had the concept that they were sacred and therefore any mistake in burning them was an offense to the gods. For the Egyptians, the wax would need to be mixed with water which was very much like how you mix oils with the oil of olive, for example.
The ancient Greeks were another group of people who were interested in candle making. They used natural ingredients for making candles and used it in order to make sure that the candles did not pollute the surrounding areas where the candle was. They also did not want the candle to get too hot or to burn too long. There were a lot of different ways that these candles were made and even though there were differences between the cultures, they all did have one thing in common: candle making!

They had the idea that the beeswax should be kept in a separate place because they did not allow other animals like dogs to come near it. They also wanted the beeswax to dry out in a special way so that it would not be too soft and that would mean that it would not be a good choice for candles. It worked out well for them and it worked out very well for the bees, too!

Some of these candles are made of animal fat, while others are made of synthetic materials such as paraffin. There is no one style of candle that is considered to be the standard colors are always white and red. Many people will create their own candles and use different colors.
