What you will need:
-wax (either paraffin or beeswax)
-a double boiler
-a mould (I am using a silicone ice cube tray)
-a heat gun or a stove
-a knife
-a spoon
-a clip
-crayons or coloured pencils
-a stove
Step 1:
Measure out the wax needed for your project. I am using a silicone ice cube tray, so I need about 1/2 a cup of wax.
Step 2:
Melt the wax in a double boiler.
Step 3:
Pour the melted wax into your mould.
Step 4:
Using a knife or a spoon, swirl the wax around to create a nice design.
Step 5:
Place the mould in the freezer for about an hour, or until the wax has hardened.
Step 6:
Remove the wax from the mould.
Step 7:
Using a heat gun or a stove, melt the wax again.
Step 8:
Dip the bottom of the wax embeds in to the melted wax.
Step 9:
Hold the embeds in the wax for a few seconds, then remove them and place them on a piece of wax paper to cool.
Step 10:
Draw a design on the wax with crayons or coloured pencils.
Step 11:
Place the wax embeds in a candle holder and light them up!
